D.O. Pakhmurin graduated from Military Medical Faculty of Siberian State Medical University in 1997 and from Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics in 2006. Since 2010 he has been working in TUSUR University.

Doctor of Philosophy (Candidate of Sciences, 2012), Associate Professor (2019).

Author and coauthor of more than 50 scientific publications, research reports and patents, teaching AIDS for the educational process.

Since 2010 D.O. Pakhmurin is a director of company «PromEl». The company specializes in development and production of innovative medical equipment.
