In 1974 he graduated from the BPF TSU. In 1974 - 1981 - Junior Researcher, Laboratory of Biocybernetics, SIPT at TSU. In 1980 he defended his thesis at the Krasnoyarsk Institute of Physics with a degree in Biophysics. In 1981 - 1992 - Senior Researcher, Laboratory of Electromagnetic Biology, NIIIBB at TSU. Since 1992 - Head of the Laboratory of Environmental Physiology, NIIIBB at TSU. In 1994 he defended his doctoral dissertation. Since 1994 he has been working as a professor at TUSUR. In 2002 he was awarded the title of professor.

During his research and teaching activities he took an active part in the formation and development of the specialty "Ecology" at the Department of RETEM. He has published more than 80 scientific papers, 10 monographs, 8 textbooks on ecology. Alexander Georgievich is actively engaged in scientific work: 2 doctoral and 7 candidate dissertations were prepared under his leadership.

The nature and main results of scientific activity

The main direction of scientific activity is electromagnetic biology. Since 1981, experimental and field studies have been conducted to elucidate the environmental role of alternating electric and magnetic fields (50 Hz) of the power line. Since 1998, a high-frequency electromagnetic field monitoring system has been developed using the example of Tomsk. An electronic electromagnetic map of Tomsk was built.

Currently, he deals with the problems of evolutionary ecology, bioindication, and the temporary organization of biosystems.

He lectures on ecology, biology, electromagnetic ecology, radioecology, social ecology, bioindication.
